A very quick turn around limited our options. Booked with enough time to load the vans and get to site; satellite was the only option.
We deployed a number of satellites to load balance across and installed the Social WiFi application onto our access points. This allows people to log onto the network using Facebook or twitter
With 15,000 people present there was a lot of distribution to put in. Our battery powered ‘Mesh Points’ where deployed around the site allowing quick set up with no power requirements from the onsite team.
Full stats where provided after the event. The Social WiFi app providing a lot of data on the types of users who used the system. It was a busy couple of days for all involved.
