Uk’s larges outdoor rail exhibition
Rail Live is the only exhibition bringing together the entire rail industry in a real railway environment. It is held at Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre. The site is large and until recently had little to no site infrastructure.
Attend2IT have been providing connectivity for the organisers and trade stands at the show since 2018. Until this year connectivity has been provided by a balance of satellite and FTTC connections, in 2022 we will be providing backhaul via a leased line for the first time.

We provide exhibitor, guest and organiser networks across the site, using a mix of wireless and conventional cable/fibre links.
The primary connection is provided via the sites leased line, with FTTC and satellite backup systems, with all core switches backed by UPS, ensuring no down time in the event of power or fibre outage.
Exhibitor booking is through our pre-event portal, taking any administrative time away from the organiser and allowing the exhibitors access to expert help from the moment of booking.
The site is served by a leased fibre and FTTC. The fibre is currenty terminated in an area of the site not used by the client, so is wirelessly linked to the main event site via our mast. This is backed up with the FTTC connection via fibre to our main server. In the event that either of these connections fail we operate backup satellite connectivity to ensure the core network will have solid redundancy.
