Network Attached Storage (NAS)

Network-at

A NAS system is a storage device connected to a network that allows storage and retrieval of data from a centralised location for authorised network users and heterogeneous clients. NAS systems are flexible and scale-out, meaning that as you need additional storage, you can add on to what you have.

Network-attached storage (NAS) is dedicated file storage that enables multiple users and heterogeneous client devices to retrieve data from centralized disk capacity. Users on a local area network (LAN) access the shared storage via a standard Ethernet connection.
